Hotel - Guest Room Housekeeping Services
This course offers thorough training in guest room cleaning and general housekeeping. Students will learn about various cleaning tools and chemicals essential for effective housekeeping.
Guest Room Cleaning:
Introduction: Familiarize with cleaning tools and chemicals.
Room Cleaning Procedures: Follow protocols for entering rooms, removing soiled linen, and cleaning items like electric kettles, glasses, and cups. Clean surfaces, wax furniture, and maintain light fixtures, telephones, and AC grills.
Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and polish fixtures, mirrors, vanity tops, walls, bathtubs, and handle towels and guest belongings.
Special Procedures: Set up extra beds, clean wet mattresses, and handle safe lockers and shoeshine requests. Manage cleaning for rooms with Do Not Disturb (DND) signs and prepare rooms for new arrivals.
General Housekeeping:
Maintaining Tools: Properly clean and maintain tools including wet and dry mops, brooms, brushes, dusters, sponges, and various vacuum cleaners. Learn about different cleaning chemicals and their uses.
This course ensures students are well-prepared to manage all aspects of guest room cleaning and general housekeeping operations efficiently.
